This life didn’t come with a manual, so I’m always looking ahead for others who have gone before me to help me learn and grow. For me, books have me at “hello” every single time. I grab a pencil and underline, circle and take notes as I make my way through the pages. As Harry S. Truman once said, “not all readers are leaders, but all leaders are readers.”
